What is Your Cancelation Policy?

Upon receipt of the initial deposit, the reservation is considered booked in the Property as defined in this Rental Agreement, and the deposit is non-refundable, with no exceptions.
A request to cancel the reservation before the final payment due date, will result in a forfeiture of the initial deposit. Renter understands that by making a cancellation request before the date that final payment is due, there will be no refund or transfer of the deposit, with no exceptions.
 
After final payment is due, the entire booking becomes non-refundable and non-modifiable.  Renter understands that by making a cancellation request after the date that final payment is due, Renter will not receive a refund and forfeits the total rent due, with no exceptions.
 
Summer Deposit and Cancellation Policy: April 17-November 16, 2022
A 10% deposit is due upon booking and is non-refundable. Final payment is due 14 days prior to arrival, at which time the entire booking becomes non-modifiable and non-refundable with no exceptions.
 
Winter Deposit and Cancellation Policy: November 17, 2022-April 15, 2023 (excluding Holiday dates)
A 10% deposit is due upon booking and is non-refundable. Final payment is due 21 days prior to arrival, at which time the booking becomes non-modifiable and non-refundable with no exceptions.
 
Holiday Deposit and Cancellation Policy: December 16-25, 2022; December 26, 2022-January 7, 2023; January 13-15, 2023; February 17-25, 2023
A 25% deposit is due upon booking and is non-refundable. Final payment is due 60 days prior to arrival, at which time the booking becomes non-modifiable and non-refundable with no exceptions.
 
There shall be no refund or credit provided beyond this cancellation policy in the event Renter is unable to arrive at the Property on the arrival date or in the event Renter departs from the Property prior to the departure date for the following reasons, including but not limited to: road closures, inclement weather, lack of snow, health problems including those related to COVID19, fires that do not require evacuation in the Truckee area, smoke or air quality issues regardless of AQI level or disruption of utility services. Renter is encouraged to purchase Travel Protection Insurance.
 
Renter acknowledges the above full cancellation policy as it pertains to Renter’s reservation dates.

Check-In/Check-Out:

Check-in time is 4:00pm* and check-out time is 10:00am. Please refer to arrival information for specific check-in instructions. If an early check in has not been authorized and you arrive at the residence prior to 4:00pm, a fee of $300 will be charged. Likewise, if a late checkout has not been authorized by  Agent and the property is not vacated by 10am, a fee of $300 will be charged. 

 

*Please note that check-in time for arrivals on December 26 and 27 is 5:00pm.

 


Vacation Rental Damage Protection:

As a part of your stay, you may purchase a Vacation Rental Damage Protection plan designed to cover unintentional damages to the rental unit interior that occur during your stay provided they are disclosed to management prior to check-out. If purchased, the policy will pay a maximum benefit of $3,000. Any damages that exceed $3,000 or are not covered under the plan will be charged to the credit card on file. If, during your stay at one of our rental properties, an insured person causes any damage to real or personal property of the unit as a result of inadvertent acts or omissions, the Insurer will reimburse the Insured for the cost of repair or replacement of such property up to a maximum benefit of $3,000. Certain terms and conditions apply. Full details of the Vacation Rental Damage coverage are contained in the Description of Coverage or Insurance Policy: www.vacationrentalinsurance.com/g20vrd. The Vacation Rental Damage plan can be purchased up to, and including at, check-in. By submitting payment for this plan, you authorize and request CSA Travel Protection and Insurance Services to pay directly Tahoe Exclusive Vacation Rentals any amount payable under the terms and conditions of the Vacation Rental Damage. Please contact Tahoe Exclusive Vacation Rentals directly if you do not wish to participate in this assignment.

 

Absolutely no smoking and no pets are allowed inside the Property.

Trip Inconvenience coverage provides reimbursement for canceled vacation days if your arrangements at your destination are closed due to lack of snow.* Services also include:

Ski & Mountain Travel Insurance may be purchased at time of booking, up to at least 21 days prior to the day you're scheduled to leave on your trip. Coverage is available to trips scheduled between December 15th and March 30th.
