Twilight Snowshoe Tour

Northstar’s Twilight Snowshoe Tours offer one of the most peaceful ways to experience winter in the Sierra Nevada. These guided evening outings move at an easy pace, giving you the chance to slow down, listen to the quiet of the forest, and enjoy the beauty of the mountains after dark. Each 2–2.5 hour tour begins at the Northstar Cross Country, Telemark & Snowshoe Center at 5 PM, where guests are outfitted and introduced to the trail before heading into the woods for a gentle, scenic walk through snow-covered pines.
Midway through the journey, the group gathers around a fire pit for s’mores and hot chocolate, a cozy break that brings everyone together before continuing on to The Village at Northstar. Leashed dogs are welcome, making this a fun winter experience for the whole family. Tickets will be available for purchase soon.
