The Broken Arrow Skyrace returns to Palisades Tahoe in 2026 with even bigger stakes, international competition, and expanded programming for runners of all ages and experience levels. Widely considered one of North America’s most competitive trail running events, Broken Arrow continues to grow into a global destination for elite athletes and mountain running fans alike.
Held on the dramatic high-alpine terrain surrounding Palisades Tahoe, the event welcomes thousands of runners and spectators for a weekend of racing, community events, and mountain culture. New additions for 2026 include expanded youth races, adaptive athlete support, spectator cheer zones, and additional inclusivity initiatives designed to grow the sport for future generations.
