The Dark Skies Cosmoarium at Northstar

Experience the night sky like never before at Northstar California’s Dark Skies Cosmoarium, a stargazing series hosted by Tahoe Star Tours. This family-friendly event blends science, storytelling, and poetry for an unforgettable evening under the stars.
Led by Tony Berendsen, a local astronomer and poet, each night features a blend of cosmic discovery and hands-on telescope viewing. You’ll learn about galaxies, nebulae, and constellations through powerful Celestron telescopes, gather around the fire for poetry and storytelling, and maybe even win a prize during the space quiz.
Whether you’re curious about the cosmos or just want a peaceful night in the mountains, the Cosmoarium delivers something meaningful for every age.
