Iron Horse North 105

This is one of the cleanest and and thoughtful ski condos we have rented. The location is wonderful, close to guest services, the pool and chair lifts - a win with young children. The condo itself was very organized and clean. The kitchen was stocked with basics and more. We enjoyed our stay.

We loved our stay at this place. We stayed with our 2 kids (2 and 5)- one bedroom with twin beds and the master. The place was clean, updated, and well supplied. Plenty of kitchen supplies. The place was in such a nice location, right near the village center and a 3 minute walk to the pool. The fitness center was also a short 2 minute walk. Very happy with the place and the communication with the property manager prior to the stay who a answered all questions.

We thoroughly enjoyed Iron Horse North. The property is located conveniently in the village, with easy access to lifts, spa, gym, restaurants, and shops. The property includes parking so our car was safe the whole time. The ski locker was super convenient. And, the layout of the property was very nice. Every room had a TV, the living room was cozy, the bathrooms were spacious, the spa tub was great for bubble baths at the end of the ski day, the kitchen was well stocked, and the balcony was a nice place for morning coffee. We would love to stay again. And, recommend to others looking for a convenient and luxurious place to stay.

Wonderful location, very well equipped. Great information about restaurants, kayak renting , boats, etc..We felt very safe in the middle of the Covid pandemic, the condo was very clean, they left hand sanitizer, mask and glove for us. We are looking forward to spend some more time here!

we had the BEST stay in this condo! the condo was SO well kept - everything was in pristine condition. the kitchen was amainzg - it's better stocked than my kitchen at home. there's a grocery store next door and a washer dryer in the unit. what could be better? two major thumbs up! also lauren at exclusive resorts was super easy to communicate w/.

The property was in excellent condition. The condo was comfortable and exactly what I had hoped. The view was not the greatest (looked directly into other condos. The 4pm check-in time and the 10am check-out time is probably warranted during the ski season, but was a little too much for the summer.

This is our second stay at Northstar, both times with a large group - 25 or so the first time, then 16 during the trip this year. Suffice it to say that we would not have returned had the experience the first time not been a good one. The condos are comfortable, appropriately appointed. The location is good for access to both the lake, Truckee, Tahoe City and an excursion to Heavenly. A few notes we thought about during our trip - 1) Guests need to be reminded to keep their dogs leashed, especially on the walkways through the village. One cousin has a fear of all dogs, and this made her uncomfortable. It doesn't matter that they owner says, "Oh, he's gentle." We had to steer her clear of three dogs. 2) Towels - you know that people are taking the spa/pool towels to the lake. We know that you must lose a number of towels each summer season. We all decided that we'd be happy to get the striped towels (perhaps red, not a pool/spa color) at check-in, and if they're not returned, then the guest is charged. As return guests, we all thought that would be fair. 3) Suggest that the yoga folks do more Yoga/Sip classes. That was fun! And a note...the agents in the office (onsite at Northstar) were very accommodating with requests - ours and those guests we saw them assisting.

From the moment I first booked Iron Horse North until check out time everything was excellent. Management was ready to assist with any questions I had before the trip. The condo was exactly how it was advertised. Everything top of the line, clean and very convenient. We walked out the door straight into the village. Perfect for our family. We will definetely go back.

Wonderful and comfortable place. Excellent management. Beds in 2nd bedroom are quite high and not recommended for very young children. Not much room for the trundle mattress in the bedroom but can be placed in the master.

Perfectly located condo for family get-away. We really enjoyed being in the village and took advantage of the hikes at the top of the gondola. Loved it!
