The Tahoe City Food & Wine Classic returns to North Lake Tahoe for another weekend of wine tastings, gourmet food, live entertainment, and lakeside views. As one of the region’s most anticipated annual events, the festival brings together more than 30 premium wineries alongside top culinary talent from around Lake Tahoe and Northern California. Guests can stroll through downtown Tahoe City sampling wines, enjoying chef-driven bites, shopping local boutiques, and taking in the scenery of Lake Tahoe and the Sierra Nevada.

The weekend also includes special events like a wine-paired dinner cruise aboard the Tahoe Gal, a Friday evening pre-party at Boatworks, and a lakeside yoga and wine experience. Proceeds from the event benefit the Tahoe City Downtown Association.

Not at all. While wine is a major part of the festival, the event also features gourmet food tastings, live music, cooking demonstrations, shopping, and scenic lakefront experiences that appeal to a wide variety of guests.

Do I need separate tickets for each event?

Some events require separate admission. The Winemaker’s Dinner & Cruise and Vino & Vinyasa require separate registration, while the Friday Grab Your Glass Pre-Party is included with the Saturday Wine Walk ticket.

Is transportation available during the Wine Walk?

Yes. The event offers a free shuttle from Olympic Valley and West Shore stops, along with complimentary bike valet service during the Saturday Wine Walk.
